Olsen Cruise Lines er et cruise-rederi som de fleste norske cruisere kanskje ikke har et forhold til, til tross for at det er norsk-eid. Vi tok turen ombord deres skip Balmoral for \u00e5 l\u00e6re skipet og cruise-rederiet \u00e5 kjenne<br \/>\n<!--more--><br \/>\nBalmoral ble opprinnelig bygget i 1988 for Royal Cruise Line, eiet av Norwegian Cruise Line og solgt til Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines i 2006 f\u00f8r skipet ble pusset opp og forlenget i 2007 med f\u00f8rste seilas 13. februar 2008 &#8211; til Florida. Med en lengde p\u00e5 217 meter er hun Fred. Olsens st\u00f8rste skip men fortsatt liten nok til \u00e5 kunne g\u00e5 inn i mindre havner. Med en kapasitet p\u00e5 1350 passasjerer og et crew p\u00e5 510 ville vi plassert henne mellom liten og medium st\u00f8rrelse av skip.<\/p>\n<p>Skipet ble sist pusset opp i November 2017 og selv om vi liker de nyoppussede omr\u00e5dene godt s\u00e5 f\u00e5r det de eldre omr\u00e5dene til \u00e5 se d\u00e5rligere ut enn de er. Vi h\u00e5per p\u00e5 en liten oppdatering av resten av skipet ogs\u00e5.<\/p>\n<p>Skipet som helhet er flott, og i likhet med Azamara legger Fred. Olsen vekt p\u00e5 unike opplevelsescruise. Vi ble presentert flere interessante lange cruise med flere av Fred. Olsens skip, som et 62-netters California, Mexico og Panamakanalen-cruise.<\/p>\n<p>Skipet har base i Storbritannia (Southampton, Newcastle og Rosyth (Edinburgh)), og ikke overraskende er de fleste passasjerene britiske. Stilen ombord minner oss ogs\u00e5 om et klassisk britisk cruise. For sammenligning ville vi ha beskrevet det som en upscale Hurtigruten.<\/p>\n<p>Her finner du ikke barneklubb, klatrevegg eller bowlingbane, men du finner en avslappet stemning med treningsstudio, spa, flere restauranter og rimelige barpriser. Hvis solen titter frem er \u00f8vre bassengdekk \u00e5 anbefale, det fallt i god smak. Hvis v\u00e6ret derimot skuffer s\u00e5 vil den h\u00f8ye kvaliteten og utvalget av mat l\u00f8fte hum\u00f8ret. Vi fikk smake et utvalg av maten ombord og den var fantastisk.<\/p>\n<p>Frem mot jul vil du finne Balmoral p\u00e5 tur til julemarked i Tyskland og Danmark, en tur nedom kanari\u00f8yene, f\u00f8r det setter kursen mot Panamakanalen.<\/p>\n<p>\u00d8nsker du \u00e5 se mer av skipet?
